Albany Partnership for Housing and Community Development
DA Specialist: Lori Burton The Albany Partnership is a 501c(3) non-profit organization developed in 1991 to meet the need for multi-family affordable housing in the Albany area. We are a United Way agency that develops and maintains housing for low and moderate-income individuals and families. We also coordinate with local service providers to offer; Hispanic literacy and GED, financial management, and parenting classes for adults, and arts and education opportunities/activities for youth. Currently, we offer IDA’s in all three asset areas: education, homeownership and microenterprise.
Farmworker Housing Development Corporation
IDA Specialist: Laura Isiordia Farmworker Housing Development Corporation We build decent and affordable housing for Farmworkers. We also provide community organizing, social service, after school programs, summer programs and economic development. We offer and focused on the following asset-goals: Home buying and Post-Secondary Education
The Housing Authority of the City of Salem
IDA Specialist: Jill Washburn (Public Housing) IDA Specialist: Brent Brimhall (Section 8) Salem Housing Authority was established in 1969 serving the Mid-Willamette Valley. Salem Housing Authority offers both Public Housing (Family and Senior sites) and Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) programs. Salem Housing Authority serves approximately 3500 households in Salem-Keizer area. The mission statement for Salem Housing Authority is, “To see that all low-income people in Salem area have the opportunity to live decent, affordable housing and to move up and out of poverty within a generation.” Salem Housing Authority offers all three asset-goals: Homeownership, Small Business Development and Spot Secondary Education and Job Training. These asset-goals compliment Salem Housing Authority’s Family Self-Sufficiency, HCV Homeownership programs and Family and/or Individual education workshops and classes with the assistance of Community Partners that support residents of Salem Housing Authority to become self-sufficient.
Linn, Benton, Lincoln Regional Housing Center
IDA Specialist: Karen Ramsden The Linn, Benton, Lincoln Regional Housing Center is a focal point for low and moderate income households to receive information and gain access to homeownership, rehabilitation, and educational programs available from the housing providers in Linn, Benton and Lincoln counties. We offer homeownership and education IDA’s in Lincoln County.
Linn-Benton Housing Authority
IDA Specialists: Anna Benson IDA Specialists: Paul Deatherage Family Self-Sufficiency Program provides intense case management for 100 Section 8 families, assisting them in setting goals, improving/building credit, and increasing assets. We offer homeownership and education IDA’s.
Polk Community Development Corporation
IDA Specialist: Celina Davila Polk CDC is a non-profit affordable housing development corporation providing housing and supportive services not only to the tenants in its housing portfolio but also to the low income (below 80% median income) community at large. Homeownership, Education, Small Business
Salem-Keizer Community Development Corporation
IDA Specialist: Araceli Avila Salem - Keizer CDC’s mission is to build community by stabilizing neighborhoods and empowering families. We create safe, high quality, affordable housing and provide families with opportunities and connections to community resources to achieve economic prosperity. Salem - Keizer CDC currently offers a variety of activities including, Rental housing, Homeownership Education, Financial Education, Micro-Enterprise Development Education, Individual Development Accounts and Resident Services. Offer all three asset-goals: Homeownership, Business, Education
West Valley Housing Authority
IDA Specialist: Sidra Metzger-Hines West Valley Housing Authority provides rental assistance to low income residents of Polk County through the Housing Choice Voucher and Public Housing Programs. We offer VIDA’s for small business start up or expansion, post-secondary education and purchase of a home.
Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services
IDA Specialist: Ken Smith Willamette Neighborhood Housing Services, a private nonprofit community development corporation, is committed to improving lives and strengthening neighborhoods through quality housing, homeownership, and economic opportunity and community partnerships. We offer the Valley IDA program for 3 asset goals: Microenterprise, Homeownership and Education.
Yamhill Community Development Corporation
IDA Specialist: Roshana Shockley Yamhill Community Development Corporation assists low and moderate income families become homeowners with our mutual self-help housing program, where the families build 65% of their homes in lieu of a down payment. The program also offers a subsidy on the mortgage payment. Funding for the loans is from USDA Rural Development. We can assist in all three asset goals.
Yamhill Regional Housing Resource Center
IDA Specialist: Karen Christensen-Brummert The Housing Resource Center is a focal point for low and moderate-income households to receive information about affordable housing and gain access to homeownership, rehabilitation, and educational programs available in Yamhill County. We are offering our clients VIDA thru CASA of Oregon. We are offering Homeownership, Education and Micro-business VIDA Accounts. Lane Micro-Business provides the education portion of the micro-business IDA.
